The Great Ruler will start airing on Jun 30, 2023, 52 episodes
With the 52 episodes set for TGR, it would seem (my guess, I could be wrong) that BTTH will take a break after it ends in a couple more episodes, since the studio that is producing the series doesnt seem to be able to handle long series that well, afterall it passed on Martial Universe to another studio

For those that are not aware, The Great Ruler is the novel after Battle through the Heavens, and is considered as the sequel to BTTH and Martial Universe. both respective donghia main characters along with other characters will be in it, but sadly as minor characters. TGR will have new characters and is set many many years after BTTH and MU, and if you are wondering as to why they would start it when BTTH and MU havent finished, it wont matter much since like I mentioned before, it is a new story, new main character and new setting

The only news as I mentioned before is that 26 episodes of BTTH season 6 was submitted for approval with the censorship board, when season 6 will be released is unknown at this stage

I loved the live action Great Ruler.
I can't wait to see the anime.

Get this, there's something pivotal for a Dou Sheng to become Dou Di, this pivotal thing comes from world above... The Great Thousands Worlds (Aka Infinite Omniverses) the world in which TGR story takes place.

So they are similar but TGR world is far superior. So the rankings also reflects it. Only Yuan Zun surpassed it... I won't say anymore because TGR being higher ranking is something you know already, so in my book that's okay to talk vaguely about.

Eh... the main reason is the TGR takes place in 大千世界/Great Thousand Worlds. It isn't some 'random Super OP Semi-Divine Mortal plane that's very powerful'

But rather if you truly translates the meaning, it's basically the Omniverse where there's infinite worlds, each has a Buddha saving the worlds. To put it vaguely. It encompasses everything, that includes all 10 Dimensions and the countless big and small Universes

It is also extremely disingenuous to use TJSS's Universe rules to judge I eat Tomatoes (Stellar Transformation) and Heavenly Silkworm Potato (TGR)'s Novels which doesn't even take place in the same Universes.

I must say I'm going to miss BTTH, got kind of used to seeing it every week for months. I guess I feel like a spoiled rotten child that got everything he wanted and now throwing a temper tantrum because it'll be ending soon ahaha. We definitely were blessed to get 52 episodes and now 52 episodes of TGR!! Which I can't wait to see TGR, I actually liked the 2d version, though many didn't like it. I'm interested to see how the 3d version will turn out, and with 52 episodes, it's going to be a long ride and so much material to ingest. Idk if it'll be a good replacement for BTTH but maybe it'll help ease my pain of this donghua and entertain us for a while smh.

I'm a little disappointed that they passed on MU, would've liked them to adapt all 3 in one studio for a cohesive body of work. Hopefully this other studio does justice for MU.

Dase, idk if i should say but well since u already mentioned that TGR is sequel to both MU and BTTH, i guess i will add some more details about bigger world than that TGR hehe...
In terms of dimensional ranking, Yuan Zun is kinda bigger in world ranking than TGR, since they all 3 together from TGR cant even beat the yuan zun main villain son (that sacred god son) in TGR, while Zhou Yuan can defeat even Sacred God in God realm, and as far as i know Yuan Zun is like prequel to TGR, and TGR world has remnants from the god race too, from when they were driven out from Heaven Genesis World...

Do correct me if im wrong somewhere, but i do remember that sacred god son was Heretic God, that egg name i forgot at the end xD
